Hi you,

Suggest you do a search on "insurance manager" both in Suite101 and the Web. And you should also try calling an insurance company - get the name of a manager, have a list of questions, and then explain you are thinking of becoming an insurance manager and would that person have time to talk to you or answer some questions - when would be a good time? You might even offer to take them for coffee (if the person is in your area).

You could also check out the Bureau of Labor Statistics. They tend to have profiles of jobs, such as insurance managers.
