Well, honestly, my boss has potential to be great but she doesn't seem to have the time for me. She keeps saying we should meet daily to go over my duties but it hasn't happened yet. We start projects but never finish them. It's been a year now. So, I applied for a new job. It's not her fault. I just need a job that's more motivating. I can't wait for her all the time.

Interesting response. Were you not allowed to continue a project on your own? Did you not have any sort of feedback/review within the year? You made the best decision for you - it just sounds strange to hear you couldn't wait for the boss (and from what it sounds did nothing unless you did it with the boss)- usually it is the other way around!

I meant we had an orientation plan to go over and we hadn't gotten to finish it. So, I'm getting good at making my own projects, doing my own thing, and relying less on waiting for the projects from her. I'm the department assistant, so unless my managers give me things to do, I just focus on keeping the office running smoothly. I do find my own projects. It just seems like there's a lot more I could do, if they could find the time to train me.
